What is Strength and Conditioning?

Strength and Conditioning aims to increase physical capacities that can improve sport performance. For most sports the strength part is about building strength before developing power and the conditioning part is about developing speed, agility and short-term endurance.

Strength and Conditioning sessions involve the major lifts (squats, deadlifts, olympic lifts and derivatives of each) with supplementary exercises on top. In addition, speed and agility drills are performed alongside interval training.
